We specialise in the repair of long case, bracket, wall, carriage and most other types of mechanical clock. We also undertake dial restoration including re-silvering and restoring painted dials etc.

Douglas Stickley established Cotswold Clocks in 1985, restoring antique clocks for trade clients and private clients alike. Doug is a second-generation clock repairer with over 40 years experience of servicing and repairing clocks. Having been trained by his father from an early age, Doug has an exacting knowledge of antique clocks.
Doug’s client base stretches to all areas of the UK, with regular trips to London, Cheltenham, Birmingham and Newbury, as well as trips further afield as necessary.
Doug offers a bespoke clock repair service, undertaking all aspects of servicing and repair including dial restoration, gilding, case work, etc. All clock repairs undertaken are by Doug's own hand in his own dedicated workshop, with no outsourcing of repairs.
As well as producing consistently high standard clock repair work, Doug buys and sells good quality antique clocks, all purchased for their originality and overall quality.

Doug says:

"All of my stock undergoes a thorough and sympathetic restoration programme, to retain as much originality as possible. Collection, delivery and setting-up of clocks can be arranged as required. All of my clock repairs carry a full one-year guarantee.
I'm happy to discuss your requirements and offer a no-obligation estimate for the work you need."
